Rob Scheer - Massage Therapist
Having worked in an office environment for 20 years, Rob felt the need to find a career that he could be passionate about , and that would better reflect his personal values. His lifelong affinity for natural health practices led him to the practice of massage.
He completed the Diploma of Therapeutic and Remedial Massage in 1999, and then sought a professional, dynamic and caring environment in which to practice. He achieved this in the year 2000 when he commenced working at Chiropractic Solutions. He found massage and chiropractic to be a great fit – stand alone treatments with great synergy when combined.
Rob’s focus is on remedial work, but he likes to encourage people to include regular “therapeutic” massage as part of a holistic view of good health. And if hot stone massage appeals, this is also included in his treatments.
Believing in “walking the talk”, Rob includes yoga, pilates, strength work and meditation in his own daily routine. Massage and Chiropractic are the monthly rewards.
Rob particularly likes the fact that all ages and types of people visit the clinic for a wide range of reasons including sport, work or life injuries, “computer” syndrome, overuse or underuse issues, or the “biggie”, stress.
In recommending a holistic approach to good health, Rob promotes body work, exercise, a balanced diet, stress management practices, and one of the most important – a sense of humour. All drug free!
